Nachdem er angeblich einen Polizisten getötet haben soll, wurde Sean K. Ellis aus Boston zu 22 Jahren Haft verurteilt. Mittlerweile steht er vor seiner 4. Verhandlung, um dort erneut seine Unschuld zu beteuern. Ihm geht es aber nicht nur um seine Unschuld.
